House Cross Country

What a wonderful change to last year's freezing conditions for House Cross Country. Many runners found it too warm this year but all put their best foot forward and particular congratulations should go to Tobina in Year 9 who came second overall in the Year 9 and 10 race, followed closely by Grace, Sofia, Jocasta and Liv all claiming places within the top 10 runners. Congratulations too for Bridie who came 5th in the Senior Girls race.

House Netball

10 out of 10 for House spirit at Thursday's Netball competition! Fonthill may not have been holding high a trophy this year but all players (and supporters!) should feel very proud of their efforts and positive participation in the event!

Daring Dodgeball!

Once again, Fonthill teamed up with Hall for our end of term Dodgeball tournament. Medals should have been awarded not only for the winning team, but for the bravery of so many students who stood in the firing line as balls were hurled from one side of the court to the other! Luckily, no one sustained any serious injuries (just a stinging sensation if hit on bare skin!), and much fun was had by all!

Year 12 Boarders' Quiz Night

Year 12s gathered in School House after prep on Friday evening for an amusingly competitive quiz organised by Year 13 School House students. Rounds included the traditional Music, Sports and Famous Faces but also a specialist Kingswood round, testing students' knowledge on the school's founder, John Wesley, and his brother Charles!
