Superheroes are victorious!

Superhero costumes definitely gave Senior Fonthill girls superpowers as they sped to victory in the traditional end of term, inter House Cross Country competition!

Four Fonthill students were within the top 10 runners to cross the finishing line; Esmée, Liv S, Ella and Livi G came 3rd, 7th, 8th and 9th respectively - what a fantastic achievement.

Can;t fault the House spirit!

Many congratulations, also, to 2 Year 9 girls, Bridie and Alex FC, for racing past many older and taller girls and coming 4th and 8th respectively in the Year 9 and 10 race.

Many congratulations to the Year 9 Fonthill girls for winning this year's coveted House Netball trophy!

Seniors put up a great fight against this year's favourites, School House, and I'm sure their strong performance was in part due to Emma's uplifting pre-match 'team talk' and the tuneful singing!  House spirit is never lacking in Fonthill!

Model United Nations Conference

As host again to a Model United Nations conference last weekend, Kingswood was buzzing with the sounds of student delegates debating a range of global issues, and it was lovely to see many sixth form Fonthill girls chairing committees including Human Rights, Security and Economics.
