End of Term Fun and Games!

We couldn't have asked for better weather for our end of term House entertainment.  After much fun either struggling to race on the bungee run, pulling muscles trying to bend as low as possible for the limbo pole, keeping hands as steady as possible on the giant buzzwire or fighting to stay upright when sumo wrestling, everyone gathered in the evening sunshine for the annual, highly competitive, inter-year group tug of war.  Staff are still recovering from their shameful show of strength after being beaten scarily easily by Year 9s!

Sports Day Success!!

The exceptionally warm weather didn't affect the girls' athleticism - if anything, it gave them an extra spring in their step and, thanks to a number of medal winning positions and smashing of school records, Fonthill and Hall won the Senior trophy!

Smoothie Saturday!

Whilst the older girls were enjoying themselves at Saturday evening's Drama and Music Awards, the younger Fonthill students were having fun making smoothies and competing to see who could make the most decorative and creative fruit designs!

Drama and Music Awards 2017

Drama and Music students were treated to a very special evening on Saturday with the red carpet rolled out again as they entered a glitteringly decorated theatre for a delicious meal, listened to the ups and downs of life in the creative arts by comedian and actor John Monie, and then celebrated peers' successes during the Awards ceremony.  Many congratulations to Hellie who won awards both as an individual performer and for her group performance, and to Lizzy for her performance in 'Our Country's Good'.
