House Cross Country Competition

The weather was kind for today's House Cross Country competition.  Thanks to the Spring sunshine, both runners and spectators were able to enjoy the whole school event which was a lovely way to end our term.  It was great to see so many Fonthill girls taking part and entering into the spirit of the event, either as an elite runner and impressing spectators with their finishing time, or as a more relaxed competitor and rising to the occasion of this year's Safari fancy dress theme!

Congratulations to Izzy for winning Bronze in the Year 9 race, to Bridie for winning Gold in the Year 10 race, and to Ella and Liv finishing within the top 10 in the Senior Girls' race.

Bridie ahead of the pack right from the start!

I spy the world's fastest elephant!

Elmer?!

Great to see so many teachers taking part too!

Go Izzy Go for that medal!

Elmer is loving the spring sunshine!

Impressive - Medha still fresh as a daisy on her second time round course!

Despite mud bath tumble, Tash determined to cross finish line!
