Year 9s and 10s enjoyed a lovely afternoon stroll in the Autumn sunshine as they took part in the Circuit of Bath walk, raising money for a charity supporting homeless people in Bath, Julian House. Up hill and down dale meant it was quite hot work at times, especially when they found themselves having taken a wrong turn and accidentally walking up one particularly steep slope twice!

Girls enjoyed an impressive amount of fruit tonight (well above their 5-a-day!), experimenting with different combinations to make a range of exceedingly healthy and delicious tasting smoothies!!

Pondering over Pictionary!
Despite some wonderfully talented artists in Fonthill, most of us were struggling to think of the best way to draw fiendish words and expressions such as 'stitch in time', 'crystal ball' and 'mother-in-law' during the Friday night game of Pictionary! There was much scratching of heads but also much laughter and fierce competition between teams!

Year 9 Boarders' Camping Trip
Fortunately, the weather was kind to the Year 9 boarders for their camping trip to the Forest of Dean where they had all had lots of fun and games, and the odd dip in the water when kayaking!

House Music Competition!
It was a long and tiring, but exciting, day on Sunday preparing for the annual House Music Competition. It was lovely to see everyone working so hard during rehearsals learning the songs and the steps, and showing such energy on the stage for the evening performance and judging. There was stiff competition and sadly, despite the originality of a mash-up of 'It's Raining Men!', 'I'm an Albatraoz' and 'We Will Rock You', no first prize this year for Fonthill and Hall for either the Song or Ensemble but good to see everyone having such fun!
Relaxing during a short break in the strenuous rehearsal schedule! |

Ready to rock and roll! |

Jess and Cat adding a special touch to the Ensemble with their triangles! |

Saturday Night is Ice Cream Night!
Well, not every Saturday night, but Ben and Jerry's is definitely popular in Fonthill, particularly on the first Saturday night of term!

Lower Sixth Ceilidh!
After initial hesitation at the Lower Sixth Ceilidh on the first night of term, students were soon entering into the spirit of the evening and flinging themselves and their partners around the dance floor! What a great way to start life in the Sixth Form!
